Network Connections Group USA has completed the installation of the New DR site (Disaster Recovery site). The design of the Network was made using Cable Project CAD, via www.cableprojectusa.com this low cost powerful design software enable you to plan and ensure the right connectivity, along with materials billing and a 3D view of the network.
The Cat5/e installation was completed with the ADC TrueNet cabling system, using all ADC (Krone) parts, tools, patch panels and data Jacks.
Working from the Cable project CAD parts list and 3D Network drawing our (CSCP) Cruise Ship Cabling Professionals technicians installed the cat5 in record time.
All the cables have been secured with our the new Mill ties these Plenum rated pull tie enable a cost saving of around 55%, we found for each Mille tie we could use FIVE times to secure the cables, this would save Five pull ties to each Mille Tie.
All the cables, patch panels and Jacks have been labeled using the Sharpmark labeling system, we used the cable labels SLL10LU / CL10A on the Cat5 building wire, the patch panels used the CL22U / ADCLS-SAA and the Data jacks the CL14U / ADCLS-FPC. All printed with the FREE software which can be download from www.ncusa.com/labeling/main.htm
The data patch cords needed a 2” server address printed on the cables, for these we used Cable labels USA, Cable labels LS34-80S www.cablelabelsusa.com these labels are designed for large amounts of text and gave our customer the right information on each patch cord.
We have worked out that with the use of the Sharpmark labels, Mille Ties, Mille rods and other cost saving installation tools and cable we achieved a cost saving of around 63% on time and installation and in today’s market place this with our high quality CSCP trained Technicians give any installer a great competitive advantage.
All the products used on this installation are available on our web site www.ncusa.com
During this installation we took care to use all parts of our Networking Group, from design with Cable project CAD, installation tech’s by Network Connections, Cable, Patch panel and Jacks labeling through Sharpmark labels and our installation products Mille ties and Mille rods.
